Smile is the best makeover
Cosmetic dentistry is a comprehensive oral care that combines art and science to optimally improve dental health, aesthetics, and function. In the past decade, dramatic interest in cosmetic dentistry has led to procedures that are quicker, less invasive, and more affordable than ever. A healthy, beautiful smile enhances appearance and builds confidence.
Cosmetic dentistry can:
- Change the size, shape, and alignment of certain teeth
- Fill in unattractive spaces between teeth
- Improve or correct bites
- Lighten or brighten the color of teeth
- Repair decayed, broken, cracked, or chipped teeth
- Replace missing teeth
- Replace old, unattractive dental treatments

- Porcelain veneers, crowns, and bridges
- Inlays, onlays, and composite fillings

Cosmetic dentistry is a comprehensive oral care specialty that combines art and science to optimally improve dental health, aesthetics, and function. In the past decade, dramatic advances in technique and materials have made procedures quicker, less invasive, and more affordable. A healthy, beautiful smile enhances your appearance and builds your confidence.
Hershey Dental Care offers a full range of cosmetic procedures: bonding, teeth whitening and bleaching, tooth-colored composite fillings, porcelain veneers, porcelain crowns (caps), porcelain fixed bridges, porcelain inlays and onlays, teeth recontouring, Invisalign, Smile on Six, and dental implants. Dr. Patel will recommend the right combination for your specific goals.
Cosmetic procedures are generally considered elective and are not covered by dental insurance. However, restorative procedures that also address a functional problem — such as repairing a cavity or replacing a defective filling or crown — may be partially covered. We accept PPO and discount plans, but do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.
Americans spend approximately $2.75 billion per year on cosmetic dental procedures. Costs vary widely by procedure type — some treatments can exceed $1,000 per tooth. Before starting a treatment plan, Dr. Patel will review all options with you so you can make an informed decision. Many of these procedures cannot be reversed, so it’s important to consider carefully.
Today’s bonding materials are extremely strong. Modern adhesive technology allows fillings and veneers to bond securely with minimal removal of healthy tooth structure. Computer imaging can also be used to show expected results before any work begins, so you can preview your new smile and decide with confidence.
